Amanda Litton
My name is Amanda. I am 39 years old, and I was born in Alexandria, La. I was raised in church. I was taught right from wrong. I searched for this love and acceptance from the things this world had to offer, which took me down a hard, long road that filled me with bitterness, anger and un-forgiveness. These became the driving forces behind every decision I made. All of this led me to losing custody of my three older children, living out of my vehicle and manipulating everyone I came into contact with in order to support my IV meth addiction. In June of 2015, I walked through the doors of LAATC and have never looked back. My life has been transformed. In 2017, I was reunited with my children. Not only have I been delivered from drugs and alcohol, but I have been set free from the poisonous life-controlling diseases of anger, bitterness and un-forgiveness. I am experiencing a true love and acceptance in Jesus, like I’ve never known before. There have been many highs and lows over the last 6 ½ years--joyful seasons and then seasons of heartache and weeping, but one thing has remained the same, and that is the faithfulness of God. He has and continues to be my source for life. This program gave me a safe place to heal and the life application skills needed to live in freedom from addiction.
