Short-Term Care (Inpatient/Detox)+
Short-Term Care is the first step of recovery for clients with a clinical need for residential inpatient/detox services lasting up to 30 days. This structured phase focuses on immediate needs such as sobriety, stabilization, and addressing life-controlling issues through counseling, therapy, and personal growth.
At the end of this phase, some clients complete short-term care only, while others continue into our Long-Term Residential Program for extended recovery.
Long-Term Care+
Our Long-Term Care Program extends beyond short-term recovery to focus on the root causes of addiction and provide the time needed for deep healing. Some clients transfer directly into long-term care, while others who qualified for inpatient treatment move here after completing short-term services.
With a proven 78% success rate, this track combines transformation with life preparation, offering continued support through:
- Spiritual development and personal growth
- Life skills training
- Individual and group mentoring
- Vocational training and structured responsibilities
- A supportive, family-like community
This program is designed to help individuals not only break free from addiction, but also rebuild their lives, restore relationships, and walk out a healthy, faith-filled future.

Medications+
Program Philosophy
A priority when clients enroll is reassessing their individual medication needs. We use a needs-based approach, so there is no single medication plan for everyone. After evaluation, clients can continue medications when appropriate, with decisions made by our trained medical and professional staff.
Short-Term Care (Inpatient/Detox)
Clients entering Short-Term care may enroll with all prescribed medications and may receive medically supported detox services when appropriate. During this phase, clients are reevaluated and stabilized as part of their care.
Long-Term Care Program
Clients transitioning into Long-Term care will have completed evaluation and stabilization prior to transfer. For direct Long-Term enrollments, only basic or life-sustaining prescriptions are allowed. Any exception is made only for clients who have first completed care through Resurgence Recovery and are approved on a case-by-case basis.
For questions before applying, please call our office at 318-209-4524.
What if I have court or legal issues?+
Following the phone interview, we will send out acceptance letters on your behalf to the courts if needed. Please provide us with your Attorney, Judge, District Attorney, and/or Probation Officer information, preferably their email address. Once enrolled, our legal case manager works closely with the courts on your behalf, providing legal updates, facilitating court dates and Zoom hearings, and sending progress notes. We also partner with the 3rd Judicial Recovery Court.
DISCLAIMERS: *Court-ordered participants: May be placed in short-term or long-term care, with residential requirements of up to 12 months, depending on the court’s decision. *Aftercare: Optional, but required to complete the program and graduate.
What campus will I go to?+
Clients do not choose their campus. Placement is determined through the application and review process. Clients who meet criteria for inpatient/detox will start their journey at our West Monroe facility, Resurgence Recovery. All other clients will be placed directly at their assigned Long-Term Induction Center to begin the program. When our program is not the right fit, we can provide referrals to outside programs. If it is determined during your stay that we are not a good fit, we work with you on an exit plan to find another level of care.
What do I need to pack?+
Can I talk to my girlfriend or boyfriend?+
No, our policy states that no communication with the opposite sex is allowed unless they are in your immediate family or you are married to them.
Can I work an outside job?+
No. While enrolled, you will not be able to work or earn income. Instead, our program provides on-site vocational training in the long-term phase to help you build a strong work ethic and develop valuable skills for your future career.
